Motor racing giant McLaren has just revealed its first ever brand new super car to go on general sale in 2011 – the MP4-12C.  The brand has been involved with the manufacture of cars before with BMW and Mercedes Benz but this is the first time a car has been produced that is all their own work.  The design of the car is undoubtedly influenced by McLaren’s racing experience and features the extensive use of the carbon fibre material used in its racing cars.  The car will no doubt be hi tec and will have a 3.8 litre V8 engine producing 600 horsepower.  Expect to pay in the region of £125,000 to £175,000.
